It's been such a pleasure to open up our little shop again. And we've also managed to get our map up on the wall so everyone can see our inspiration for what we make.
Scotland is packed full of fabulous flavours... from traditional produce, to foraged ingredients and an amazing food and drink industry. We are blessed to be able to draw on all of this in our chocolate making. We use some very classic combinations, like raspberry and dark chocolate and a few more unusual ones, like port and Blue Murder cheese. We only make chocolates we love ourselves, and we add a little Scottish twist - like a traditional ingredient, or favourite product - because we think this is one of the most beautiful places to live, with fabulous food, a vibrant culture and awe inspiring nature.
We spend a lot of time thinking about great flavour combinations, trying them out (and rejecting quite a few) then perfecting them with the help of our friends and neighbours. Over the next wee while we'll tell you a bit more about the different products and ingredients we use, and why we love them. Scotland has so much to offer, we are excited to be able to tell you about the tiny taste of Scotland in chocolate, that we make in our shop.
