We've been asked for hot chocolate so many times - so we went and did it!
We've done it the old-fashioned way - with just great-quality chocolate - but then we've also added some fabulous specialty cocoa powder to make it even more chocolatey, without overdoing the sugar... although you can always add more for a rich sweet treat.
This hot chocolate is made with 40% milk chocolate with added light cocoa powder. Also available dark (58%) or darkest (70%).
Use cream, milk, or any of the dairy free milks available and remember it will need a little more mixing, even using water for a real intense chocolate hit.
Dark hot chocolate ingredients: Cocoa solids (min. cocoa solids 41% Milk solids 19%), Milk powder cocoa butter, sugar, cocoa powder, emulsifier: Soya lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring

Our hot chocolate can be made in several ways. Whisked into hot milk or cream. If you prefer a more intense and less creamy feel, then simply hot water will give a real chocolate "hit".
We also find the addition of a wee tipple of your choice is an amazing addition too.

We use single origin 100% cocoa powders in all our hot chocolate drinks. We add the cocoa powder to our melted chocolate, let it all set then grate it into the pieces you get to enjoy.
The cocoa powders give an added richness.

As with most things chocolate, we tend to find consuming them within a few weeks is ideal.
That said, our hot chocolate has an extended life on them purely as they are simply great quality chocolate and cocoa powder.
